Chief Human Resourse Officer
Patricia Wortham
Patricia Wortham brings over 20 years of HR expertise across a diverse range of industries, including financial services, legal, investment advisory, renewable energy, technology startups, nonprofits, and advertising. She has a proven track record of building HR departments from the ground up and partnering with leaders, from first-time founders to seasoned executives—to create cultures that drive growth, innovation, and equity.
Her extensive experience includes working with organizations like ING Bearings, SwissRe, JP Morgan, Oppenheimer & Company, and an IT startup serving the NYC Department of Education, as well as nonprofits such as Volunteers of America. Most recently, Patricia has contributed to an AI and HR technology startup, Cypher Tech, where she continues to make an impact in the evolving tech landscape.
In addition to her professional achievements, Patricia serves as a board advisor for the CFB Foundation. Her involvement is deeply personal and inspired by her grandmother’s experience during COVID-19. Unable to physically visit her grandmother in the nursing home and struggling with virtual visits, Patricia felt the heartbreak of not being there during her grandmother’s final moments. Having grown up alongside elderly patients as the daughter of a home attendant, Patricia understands the value and dignity of those in nursing homes. Her mother retired during COVID-19, but Patricia remains committed to improving the lives of those in elder care. She believes that nursing home residents still hold great institutional knowledge, and she is passionate about making a positive difference in their lives.
Beyond her work, Patricia is a proud mother of two young men and a first-generation American. She has a passion for vintage luxury, cherishes moments of relaxation, and finds joy in sharing laughter with friends and strangers. Her journey has been fueled by resilience, adaptability, and a deep commitment to building meaningful connections, both personal and professional.
