Karen Adams
Karen Adamsis deeply honored to participate in and support the C.F.B. Foundation, a cause close to her heart. For many of us, the elderly hold a special place in our lives, often reminding us of those we cherish or have cherished. For Karen, this connection stems from her late mother, a trailblazing woman who became the first female advertising executive at Revlon.
Her mother was a figure of grace, intelligence, and respect in her field—a true pioneer. Yet, in her final days, she was reduced to spending her time in a nursing home, staring blankly at a television screen. This painful experience left an indelible mark on Karen and fueled her drive to make a difference. She believes the C.F.B. Foundation has the potential to create meaningful change in the lives of the elderly, ensuring dignity and care for those who deserve it most.
Health, fitness, and beauty have been at the core of Karen’s life and career. Born and raised in New York City, Karen, a proud mother of four, discovered her passion for fitness at a young age. Her journey began as a certified trainer at Bally’s Total Fitness, where her exceptional people skills, marketing acumen, and ability to spot future opportunities quickly caught the attention of upper management.
Karen’s career flourished as she rose through the ranks, eventually securing a position on Bally’s Executive Management Team. In this role, she was instrumental in opening new facilities, enhancing the company’s brand, and developing strategic marketing initiatives. Her expertise and vision also played a key role in the successful launches of premier fitness clubs, including The Vertical Club, Crunch, and Equinox.
As the health club industry evolved, so did Karen. The corporate life, while rewarding, began to feel less aligned with her personal mission. Determined to continue helping people become the best versions of themselves, Karen set out to explore new horizons.
This pursuit led her to meet Dr. Michelle Zweifler, a highly regarded plastic surgeon in New York City. Under Dr. Zweifler’s mentorship, Karen gained extensive training and experience, working alongside her in a prestigious Fifth Avenue office. This collaboration allowed Karen to combine her passion for beauty and well-being with a deeply fulfilling mission: helping individuals feel confident and empowered in their own skin.
After several successful years in New York, Karen’s family relocated to the West Coast, where she decided to continue her journey. Today, Karenremains committed to her mission of making a difference—whether through her work in health and beauty or her involvement with the C.F.B. Foundation. She firmly believes that by supporting this initiative, we can ensure that every elderly individual lives with dignity, care, and respect.
